Terms of service
Last updated October 21, 2026
These terms apply when you use recartly.co or install a Recartly app such as ReApp in your Shopify store. By installing or using our apps you agree to them.
The service
ReApp lets your store be added to customers' Home Screens as a web app and lets you send web push notifications to customers who opt in. It is not a native iOS or Android app. Whether a customer can install your store or receive notifications depends on their device, browser and settings, which we don't control.
Plans and billing
ReApp has a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed by Shopify every 30 days through your Shopify invoice, and start with a 7-day free trial. Each plan includes a monthly notification allowance. When you reach it, sending pauses until the next month or until you upgrade; we never charge for extra notifications. You can change or cancel your plan anytime in the app. Refunds follow Shopify's billing rules.
Your responsibilities
- Send notifications only to customers who opted in, and keep them relevant to your store.
- Don't send content that is illegal, misleading, hateful, or that infringes others' rights.
- Follow Shopify's terms and the laws that apply to your marketing, including consumer protection and privacy laws.
We may pause sending for a store that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep our apps running and notifications flowing, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Delivery depends on third parties such as browser push services. We may change or improve features; if we remove something important on a paid plan we'll give notice in the app.
Liability
Our apps are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Recartly isn't liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop anytime by uninstalling the app. Your data is then handled as described in our privacy policy.
